Blue dye binds to proteins such as albumin and lipoproteins as well as enzymes like kinases and dehydrogenases
Supplier: Cytiva 17094801
Description
This medium is well established as adsorbent for albumin and interferon at laboratory and process scale.
- Cibacron Blue 3G is covalently coupled to the base matrix allowing for low ligand leakage and high capacity
- The blue dye binds proteins, such as albumin, interferon, lipoproteins and blood coagulation factors
- The dye also binds enzymes including kinases, dehydrogenases, and most enzymes requiring adenyl-containing cofactors e.g. NAD+
- Avg. particle size: 90μm
- Volume: 50mL
Developed and tested in co-operation with large-scale manufacturers and is used in routine commercial production.
- For large-scale purification of interferon and albumin
- For isolating groups of enzymes and removing of albumin
- For industrial applications and other approved applications
