The Silencer™ Select Human Drug Transporter siRNA Library provides investigators with a focused RNAi screening platform targeting the most up-to-date transporter genes important in entry and extrusion of drugs into and out of cells. Target genes include those impacting absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of many drugs. The Silencer Select Human Drug Transporter siRNA Library contains 297 Ambion™ Silencer Select highly potent and chemically-modified siRNAs targeting 99 drug transporter genes. This library was designed using the most up-to-date genome databases, including the NCBI RefSeq database and cross-referenced to the Gene Ontology Consortium (GO) database and/or the HUGO Gene Nomenclature Committee (HGNC). The Silencer Select siRNAs are designed using Thermo Fisher Scientific's leading algorithms—along with our novel locked nucleic acid (LNA) chemical modifications, this helps to maximize the efficacy, specificity and potency to RNAi screens against drug transporter genes.
