Description
Cyanide as hydrocyanic acid (HCN) is released from cyanide complexes by reflux distillation and absorbed in a scrubber containing sodium hydroxide solution.
- Use for samples of 500mL
- Reaction/distillation section of apparatus connects to absorption/scrubber section by Tygon™ tubing, reducing set-up time and eliminating a key source of glass breakage
- Inlet tubes have funnel openings for easier acid addition
