Description
It is used in the preparation of organic phosphorus compounds and frequently-used phosphine ligand. It is also a highly basic ligand that forms complexes with most metals. In addition, it can react with bromomethyl-benzene to get benzyl-trimethyl-phosphonium; bromide.Â
