Description
The TrueMark Enteric Bacterial Select Panel I Combo Kit includes the TrueMark Enteric Bacterial Select Panel I and TrueMark Infectious Disease 1âStep Multiplex Master Mix for simplified ordering. Together with the TrueMark Enteric Bacterial Select Amplification Control I, the kit can be used to quickly evaluate up to 200 samples and uses extracted nucleic acid from stool specimens. The kit is recommended for use with the QuantStudio 5 Real-Time PCR System (with 96-well, 0.2-mL block). It includes primers and probe sets specific to the following targets:
• Salmonella spp.
• Shigella spp./enteroinvasive E. coli (EIEC)
• Campylobacter jejuni, Campylobacter coli, Campylobacter upsaliensis
• Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) stx1/stx2
• Bacillus atrophaeus (used as a process control)
